Liebster is a German word, meaning favorite, dearest or beloved, and the Liebster is awarded by bloggers to other, newer bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers, to spread the word and help the new(er)bies gain wider recognition.
The award comes with four conditions that each recipient must satisfy when accepting:
1. Choose five up-and-coming blogs (with fewer than 200 followers) to award the Liebster to.
Now this is hard because I love each and every blog that I read and to choose just 5 and also as others are receiving this award, I would probably accidently pick the same person (my luck)
2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
I am a bit late in thanking Adrienne from Tryllacraft for awarding me the Liebster Blog Award. I haven't linked back to her blog because it seems to be missing from my reading list for some reason (perhaps Blogger is playing up, who knows!).
3. Post the award on your blog. List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites. Leave comments on their blogs so they know about the award.
4. Share five random facts about yourself that people don't know about you.
a. I have a dual love of Cross Stitch and Patchwork, which means that I am very conflicted on what I should be working on and because of this, it takes me twice as long to finish things.
b. I have only travelled overseas three times, twice to New Zealand and once to Fiji.
c. DH and I have bought a caravan, an
Eco-tourer, to travel around in during our holidays. We love it because is it aerodynamic with the car and great on fuel economy. Has some great features inside as well.
d. I have been cross stitching since 1991 after progressing from long stitch and tapestry. I haven't looked back.
e. I can't think of a fifth random fact.
