This week I set myself the task of completing Page 1 of Rose Cerise. Now Christmas parties and work are detrimental to a stitching plan, let me tell you! So after spending some time recovering yesterday from all that eating late and mojitos that managed to disappear fairly rapidly, today I was determined to finish the page.
As of about 10 minutes ago, including photo taking, I finished Page 1.
The next page is not going to be so "friendly" or finished as rapidly, considering we heading into major meltdown type heatwaves down under for Christmas and the following 2-3 months after that.
At the end of this week, we are headed off on holidays, our first Christmas away. The family are coming over to us closer to the day, so it won't be completely away from everything, the important people will be with us.
I was also blessed by receiving Christmas presents from my stitchy friends, The Crafty Princess and the Fabulous Frogger:
Lesli from Fabulous Frogger wanted to thank me for being her "secret santa". She is so sweet. Alicia from Crafty Princess is another amazing lady who just wanted to surprise me. Thank you both so much, it made my day when I received them.
On another note, I discovered that I am at 162 followers!!! Amazing and welcome to everyone.
Mum is working industriously on Nautilus Princess, she has a complete row of pages and a row of partial pages left to stitch, she is getting closer every day, go MUM, you can do it!!!
My secret santa gifted me a certificate to Cross Stitch Heaven and I chose a beautiful fabric called "Basically Bonkers" in 32 count half yard. I thought it was completely appropriate for me. I also got some decent XS needles, as our local store sells cheap and nasties and my needle threader keeps breaking it. I also am going to try the Mill Hill needle threader to see if that one fares any better. I will post photos when I get them.
Have a great week and if I don't post before we head off on holidays, please have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!

Congrats on finishing the page =) Cerise looks amazing =)
Your new charts look amazing =)
Kim that looks fantastic. Great page finish, it works really well on the lilac fabby. I wish my bling showed up as well in my pics.
And yes "Basically Bonkers" is completely appropriate for you. I can just see the fabric in my mind. I'm going to head over to the website to see if I was on the money.
Yay to 162 followers, just shows how much we all adore you. I consider you a sister of lunacy with our stash that is not only quite large but same same but different.
xoxo Alicia
